Research Methods

This page provides an overview of the final paper written for Research Methods. It was a qualitative research study on data from a subset of the Occupational Folklife Project on North Carolina midwives.

Competitive Intelligence

This website was built as a final project for Competitive Intelligence. It looks at the canned tuna industry and investigates the environmental and labor practices of the industry, as well as comparing a small number of canned tuna brands.

Database Design and Management (SQL)

This web interface was built as part of the final project for Database Design and Management.

Work was done in SQL via MySQL Workbench and the web interface utilized a lot of PHP.

Foundations of Data Science (R)

This page provides an overview of the final project for Foundations of Data Science. It was an analysis of dogs named "Buddy" in Allegheny County. The project looked at over 15 years of data from the Western Pennsylvania Regional Data Center. The analysis was done in R.

Data Analytics (SPSS)

This page provides an overview of the final project in quantitative analysis for Data Analytics. It looks at data from the Gun Violence Archive and determines (via linear regression) the likelihood that a suspect of gun violence will reach a certain status (unharmed, arrested, injured, killed) based on a small number of factors.

This page provides an overview of the final project for Problem Solving with Data on lilac phenology with data from the USA National Phenology Network. This project was done in Python.
